No. For the stipended PhD programs, you are responsible for your tuition bill. You will need to take your tuition bill directly to your program for payment.
Tuition is based on the program of enrollment of the student. This tuition applies to all courses to which you are enrolled. It also applies to courses that you may enroll in across campuses (concurrent registration).
Yes. All degree-seeking students enrolled in five or more credit hours are required to have insurance. As a result, all full-time students (taking five or more credit hours) are automatically billed for the Student Health Insurance Plan A. If you have a comparable insurance, you may qualify to waive the Student Health Insurance Plan.
As a UC Denver Anschutz Medical Campus student, you have an option to purchase dental insurance. The voluntary dental plan is not dependent on enrolling in the medical plan. You may have the medical insurance and still enroll in the voluntary dental. If you are a stipended PhD student on the mandatory dental plan, the Student Health Office will handle your enrollment. You will not be declared a Colorado resident and will be subject to out-of-state tuition for the entire semester one year from matriculation. This means that you will be billed at the higher, non-resident rate for that semester. The result for the stipended PhD students is that the program will not pay the difference between the in-state tuition rate and the out-of-state tuition rate. Students will be responsible to pay the tuition differential.
