Bio
Leslie Miller has a Bachelors degree in Biology from Boston University and a background in ecology and molecular biology. In Fall 2008, she received a Masters of Engineering degree in Sustainable Infrastructure from the University of Colorado Denver.
In the past, Leslie has interned at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, CO, working on life cycle assessment of corn and cellulosic ethanol, and less extensively, of photovoltaic solar power plants.
Research
Leslie’s area of interest lies in tackling local and global problems related to food and water infrastructure. Her current research project is focused on describing environmental, social, and economic tradeoffs associated with wastewater use in urban agriculture in India. Leslie has published the following:
