Bio
Krista Nordback has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Geological Engineering) from the University of Minnesota.
In the past, Krista has worked as a consulting geotechnical engineer specializing in tunnels and dams. She has obtained her Colorado Professional Engineer’s License (Registration No. 37322) and served 5 years in the City of Boulder's Citizen Transportation Advisory Board.
Research
Krista’s specific area of interest is Bicycle Transportation. She is currently working on a research project that aims to estimate bicycle miles traveled in Boulder, Colorado and assessing bicycle safety. She previously authored the paper “Automated Bicycle Counts: Lessons from Boulder”.
