Christensen is a Master’s student in Bioengineering currently working as a
research student under the mentorship of Dr. Cathy Bodine. She graduated from
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and has
an interest in assistive technology because of its ability to help people in
their daily lives. Her project involves using wearable sensors to detect falls in
individuals with dementia and alerting caretakers in real time.
