Fluids Thermal Lab
 

The Mechanical Engineering Fluids Thermal Laboratory is located in Technology Building 128 and provides the laboratory experience for the undergraduate fluids-thermal sciences.

The Fluids Thermal Laboratory is equipped with

  • A wind tunnel with 18 inch x 18 inch x 8 foot test section capable of 50 m/s speed.
  • A water tunnel with 6 inch x 6 inch x 6 foot test section capable of 2m/s speed.
  • Associated dynamometers, hot wire anemometers, thermocouples barometers, manometers, pressure gauges and data acquisition systems.
