Sociology at UCD means questions answered about your world. You find answers to a number of social questions through peer-group work, engaging classroom discussion and plenty of opportunities for interaction between our faculty and students. Academics focused on the real world. You will focus on the skills to distinguish yourself as a team player in the increasingly group-oriented workforce.
For students interested in pursing a Master of Sociology, some of the topics covered by this program include: classical sociological theory, contemporary sociological theory, research methods and quantitative data analysis.
For Master's students, two plans of study are available:
- Thesis option: Requires a thesis
- Project option: Requires and project and internship
