The Department of Sociology is proud to offer all required sociology courses online in order to complete your BA. Whether you are too far from campus to commute or you can't find an on-campus course that fits your schedule, online courses allow you to balance work, school, and the other areas of your life. Students who are in the Denver area also have the option of taking their own blend of on-campus and online courses.

Online courses provide the same quality of education offered by a traditional, on-campus course. You choose when and how often you want to be online, as long as you complete all assignments and requirements by the instructor's deadlines.

Keep in mind that some of the required courses are only offered online during specific semesters. Below is a list of those courses and the semester in which they are offered.  Elective courses will vary per semester. Make sure you plan accordingly.

  • SOCY 1001 (fall, spring, summer)
  • SOCY 3001 (fall, spring)
  • SOCY 3111 (spring, summer)
  • SOCY 3121 (fall, spring, summer)
  • SOCY 3150 (Previously 4150) (spring, summer)
  • SOCY 3160 (Previously 4160) (fall)
