Bio
Dr. Shyu serves as a Senior Instructor in the Psychology Department. Her professional interests include the application of instructional best practices at the post-secondary education level to inspire student learning and growth. Before coming to the University of Colorado Denver in 2010, she worked as a private clinician conducting neurocognitive learning assessments and diagnostic evaluations. She also worked as a psychological consultant in various capacities, including research, data analysis, program evaluation, academic coaching and educational support. Her research interests revolve around cognitive processes affected in neuropdevelopmental disorders, including autistic disorders, attention control disorders and reading disorders.
Dr. Shyu currently teaches five undergraduate courses per semester.
