The Ethics Bowl competition is a nation-wide debate pitting the best and brightest analytical thinkers and arguers from colleges and universities around the nation. This year's 15 included cases addressing such issues as marketing to children, the controversial Arizona immigration bill, the rights of an employer to control legal behaviors of employees outside of work, and the moral propriety of producing and distributing heavily caffeinated alcoholic drinks. More about UCD's Ethics Bowl team and the nationally organized competition will soon be available on the UCD Philosophy Department website.
