Convenience: CU Succeed courses are conveniently taught in high schools by CU Denver approved high school faculty.
Early preparation: CU Succeed courses offer exposure to the rigor of the college experience, which helps facilitate the transition from high school to college.
Transfer of Credits: CU Succeed students earn real college credits, which are recorded on an official CU Denver transcript. These credits apply to degree programs at CU Denver, and they can be transferred to other colleges and universities. Many of the courses offered satisfy core curriculum requirements, and are also included on the Colorado State-Wide Guaranteed (gtPathways) List.
Academic Success: Recent national, state, and CU Denver studies demonstrate that students in concurrent enrollment programs achieve higher GPAs and have higher retention and graduation rates than other students.
Affordability: Tuition for CU Succeed Gold courses is $75 per credit hour, a fraction of the cost of on-campus courses. In addition, CU Succeed students do not incur the costs of student fees and travel associated with on-campus courses.
