  • A new study conducted by Hani Mansour, assistant professor in the Department of Economics, and Peter Kuhn, economics professor at the University of California at Santa Barbara, shows that using the Internet to look for a job reduces unemployment duration by an average of 25 percent. The study has attracted both local and national media attention, with mentions in The Wall Street Journal, The Lookout, Digital Journal, Science Daily, and The Denver Post.
