Dr. Gordana Lazi​​c joins the Department as our Internships Director this fall. Dr. Lazic has previously taught classes in diversity and difference, intercultural communication, popular culture and communication, and fundamentals of communication at the University of Colorado Boulder, the University of Denver, and UCD. Her chief research interest concerns the rhetoric of resistance, especially in nondemocratic political contexts such as Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and has recently focused on Serbian student protests in particular. Her publications appear in places such as the Quarterly Journal of Speech. Dr. Lazic enjoys international film and is excited to work with our students in building local, national, and international internship connections.
