Bio

Jing Li graduated from Nankai University in Tianjin, China in 1984 with a major in Chinese history. She taught college level Chinese history for eight years and co-authored several books on Chinese history before immigrating to the United States. While in Minnesota, she taught Mandarin Chinese, Chinese history and culture to students of many age groups and levels. When her family moved to the east coast, she held the position of Lecturer in East Asian Studies at Princeton University until her family relocated to Colorado. Besides teaching at the University of Colorado at Denver, she is also an Adjunct Instructor of Chinese at the University of Denver.
