Born in the foreign tropical land of Brazil, it was only natural that Marta would pick the snowy-mountain state to settle in. It is not so much that she was running away from Carnival and soccer, but really looking forward not to pulling weeds and mowing the lawn on winter days. Besides her particular distaste for yard work, Marta spends her life enjoying English, cultural differences and the awkwardnesses in between.
