BA student in anthropology with a minor in public health, UCD

In addition to pursuing an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Public Health, Kate is currently undergoing rigorous studies of life, the universe, and everything.  She is from a wee little suburb on the border of Detroit, and has been known to exhibit the odd Michigan accent when angry.  Kate can often be found curled up on a couch reading anything from J.K. Rowling to Franz Kafka.  She enjoys growing vegetables of colossal proportions and catnapping (cats required), all while sneezing and wheezing.  She is an avid niche gamer who enjoys battling monsters while in elven form, taking down cities ruled by Julius Caesar, and running around as a SackGirl named LadyK80.  When she's not doing any of the above, she can be found wearing a raspberry colored beret and whittling away at her latest creative writing project.  She also enjoys puppies, kittens, and dressing up for Halloween
