Aaron studied poetry and composition at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he taught freshman- and sophomore-level composition courses as well as courses focused on literature and creative writing. His creative work and book reviews have been featured in Spillway, The Smoking Poet, Prism Review, Permafrost, Antipodes and other literary journals.
