Two contest divisions

In both age-appropriate divisions, students may participate as individuals or in groups of from two to five students.

  • Junior Division (grades 6-8)
  • Senior Division (grades 9-12)

Create a 2013 Project on a Colorado History Topic.  History Colorado, our State Historical Society, suggests these topics:

  • Santa Fe Trail created to link a trade route between Santa Fe (Spain) and US
  • Bent’s Fort building dividing US from Mexico
  • US/Mexico War –effects on Colorado
