The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) welcomes your interest in our master’s and PhD programs. As the largest school on UC Denver’s Downtown Campus, CLAS offers a resourceful and supportive environment, with 17 master’s degree programs and specialized concentrations in most fields, as well as PhD programs in health and behavioral sciences, integrative and systems biology, applied mathematics and clinical health psychology.
Graduate work in CLAS
Our graduate students and faculty collaborate on intellectual exploration and professional training, and they primarily work in small classes and seminar settings. Learning opportunities are plentiful outside of the classroom through field work, research opportunities and professional internships.
Master’s students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences have 16 programs to choose from, all through which they’ll work closely with award-winning researchers and scholars.
PhD programs are focused on completion of the terminal degree and careers in research, teaching and administration. CLAS currently offers the PhD in Applied Mathematics, Clinical Health Psychology, Health and Behavioral Sciences and Integrative and Systems Biology.
