Rockley Piano Sale

Music & Entertainment Industry Studies Department

Dear Auraria Campus Community, Alumni and Friends:

The University, Colleges and Performing Arts Center of the Auraria Higher Education Center had the use of new first-class pianos and digital pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2012-13 school year. This arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, recognized by the I.R.S. as a 501(c)(3) organization. These instruments, instruments provided to other institutions and instruments made available by our manufacturing partners will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program.

A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, keyboards, orchestral strings, acoustic and electric guitars will be available from such famous makers as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Pramberger, Baldwin, Bechstein, Knabe, Roland, Guild, Gretsch, Breedlove, Godin, Peavey and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a “substantial portion” of your purchase will be considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE .*

There are two ways to view and purchase:

1) BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special “pre sale” on Friday, August 9  and Saturday, August 10, along with our faculty and staff, prior to the general public. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reduction. To secure a private appointment time call: (303) 556-4049

2) FINAL SALE DAY: You may attend the final public day on Sunday, August 11,
from Noon - 5:00 PM without an appointment.

This event will be held on the 2nd floor, of the Arts Building on the Auraria Campus, Downtown Denver. Park in Lot "Holly." For directions, download a map at http://www.ahec.edu/campusmaps/maps.htm

In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this loan program is vital to us in our effort to further education in the arts.  We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

*Please note that this is not a contribution to any of the institutions listed above. You should consult with your own tax advisor as to individual deductibility.
