Emmett Culligan founded Emmett Culligan Design – after he completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from the University of Colorado Denver in May 1996. Inspired by the Bauhaus principles of a “universal unity in which opposing forces exist in a state of absolute balance,” the idea behind the business was simple: start a company with the ability to take the creative process from inception to completion.
Working with metal, wood, stone and glass, Emmett Culligan Design specializes in the integration of a wide range of materials in a variety of contexts. Emmett Culligan Design has a large, well-equipped fabrication facility in Denver Colorado, where Culligan and his staff enjoy the wide-open spaces and abundant natural resources the state has to offer.
Emmett Culligan Design has worked in many locations throughout the world, including the REI flagship store in Denver and the Katz Collections in New York City and Cannes, France.
Whether you are looking for sculpture, public art, or furniture, count on Emmett Culligan Design to make a statement with uncompromising craftsmanship and a unique artistic aesthetic.
