Graduate student working in one of NCMF's forensic labs.

RESEARCH

  • To advance state-of-the-art methodologies and technology applications in media forensic science;
  • To develop customized hardware/software for the law enforcement and Homeland Security community.

EDUCATION

  • To develop an internationally recognized media forensics graduate program;
  • To establish new standards for an inter-disciplinary program in this area;
  • To retain world-renowned faculty to teach courses, perform research, and mentor graduate students;
  • To offer training to law enforcement and forensic specialists to assist in making their knowledge more current.
