The Colorado Center for Community Development works in communities large and small, rural and urban, in town that never thought they needed, or could afford, outside assistance. 

Rural Communities

CCCD responds to the design and planning needs of underserved and resource limited rural communities throughout the state. 

Urban Communities

CCCD serves urban communities by targeting development assistance primarily to community-based, non-profit organizations that serve low-income and/or minority neighborhoods in the Denver Metropolitan area.

Our multidisciplinary approach is rooted in shared knowledge and collaboration. CCCD fosters a diverse teaching, research, and learning environment in which graduate students gain valuable design, planning and community development experience.

Underserved Colorado communities and neighborhoods receive the planning, design, and civic engagement assistant they need to support more sustainable and healthy lifestyles.
