- Podcasts have become an increasingly popular way of disseminating information, news and music. A growing number of programs and departments have posted podcasts about their programs. A sampling of news podcasts can be found on the CUView.
- CUConnect, CU-Boulder’s secure Web portal, gives students, faculty and staff one place to access a wide variety of university resources, announcements, news, events calendars and more. The portal allows students to conduct campus business online, including registration, schedule and grade viewing, calendar development, and access to e-mail and course tools.
- Wireless Internet access is available in most buildings on campus, including Norlin Library, the UMC, the Engineering Center, the business building and many other major classroom buildings. A wireless expansion project that is nearing completion will provide coverage in all academic buildings. An updated list of wired buildings is available on the Web at www.colorado.edu/its/wireless/coverage.
- The foothills surrounding Boulder provide hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and other recreation.
- Colorado has 26 ski and snowboard resorts, many of which are within a three-hour drive from Boulder.
