CoPR Mission

The Center of Preservation Research preserves the past and examines the present to prepare for the future of our cities, suburbs, ranchlands, and even our wildlands—through education, research, and practice. CoPR is an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and self-sustaining organization that investigates and participates in the preservation of built environments, cultural landscapes, cultural heritage, and natural landscapes through

  • leading-edge scholarship, technologies, and theoretical and applied research;
  • preservation education;
  • outreach to the wide variety of professional and public communities engaged in preservation

...in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West, throughout the United States, and around the world.
