Modalities for Teaching Abroad

  CU Denver offers three ways in which CU Denver faculty can Teach Abroad:

1.    Lead a Global Study program.  Proposal applications at the left.  Please note, proposals must be approved by the Department Chair and College/School Dean.  Only CU Denver faculty may submit proposals to teach abroad.  Most programs take place during Maymester, summer or over winter break.  Contact Diego Garcia, Director Global Education,

2.    Teach at International College Beijing.  Please contact Diego Garcia, Hiring is conducted through the standard CU process, faculty must have the support of their Department Chair and Dean.

3.    Mentor International Research, Internship, or Clinical – Many students engage in a variety of international research activities with faculty mentors.
