International learning, research and practicum are available to students from both University of Colorado Denver campuses. Students in the School of Medicine's Global Health Track pursue mentored scholarly activities abroad between years 1 - 2 and 3 - 4. Medical Anthropology students may pursue field research in Ecuador and Tanzania. School of Pharmacy students undertake clinical activities in dozens of countries abroad. School of Nursing students may travel to Japan to help bridge cultural understanding. Pre-med students from the downtown campus may select from a range of CU Denver and non-CU Denver study, research and service opportunities. The School of Public Health has increased the number of practicum opportunities for their students to provide hands on research and experience with health issues worldwide.
