This study abroad course is designed to provide high level access to exciting global organizations in the sports and entertainment industry. Through visiting and talking with the industry elite outside of the US, a broader business and culture perspective on the industry is gained. Students will read pertinent articles before visits, keep a journal, and write a reflection paper at the end of the experience.
Tentative site visits include: Chelsea Football Club, Molson Coors Football Sponsorship, All England Lawn Tennis Club / Wimbledon, BT's 2012 Olympics Sponsorship, Twickenham / Rugby Football Union, Lord's Cricket Ground, The O2 Arena, Theatre & Film Production & Financing, The BBC, UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
