A certified teacher of English as a Foreign Language (EFL),
Janette earned her master’s degree in British Literature at the Fredonia campus
of the State University of New York (SUNY).
And has been active professionally in the development and management of
English Language Learner (ELL) programs at the primary and secondary school
levels, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) for adult, pre-university
students. Having worked as a section
editor for a local newspaper in the U.S., she also directed and managed an
extensive community writing program in upstate New York.
