An M.A. in English from Eastern Illinois University, Brandi
is a certified Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) instructor and has
taught developmental and academic English in the Marshall Islands, Turkey, and
Illinois, where she also worked as a professional reporter for two years. Throughout her career, she has also overseen
a number of administrative ancillary programs at her academic institutions,
including writing center coordinator, mentoring director, and
interpersonal/domestic violence group leader.
