ICB is a joint delivery academic program between the University of Colorado Denver (UC Denver) in Denver, Colroado, USA, and China Agricultural University (CAU) in Beijing, People's Republic of China. The partnership, formed in 1994, was one of the first of its kind approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education. And has set the standard for quality among programs of similar design.
At ICB students can complete a UC Denver bachelor of arts (B.A.) in either economics or communication. Additionally, qualified students are eligible to earn the equivalent undergraduate degree at CAU. Currently, UC Denver faculty teach all courses from the second year on.
As part of their program, UC Denver students who begin at ICB may choose to study at the UC Denver campus while UC Denver students who begin in Denver may choose to study at ICB in Beijing.
For the academic year 2010-2011, ICB will enroll more than 400 students studying at both the Beijing and Colorado campuses.
