Dr. Kannan is Vernon Maughan Buehler and MaRee C. Buehler Endowed Professor, professor of operations management, and director of International Programs in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, Utah State University.  He teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in operations management, production planning, supply chain management, management sciences, and statistics.  His research is in the areas of supply chain management and systemic thinking with current projects examining the impact of buyer/supplier/customer relationships in supply chain management and the role of systemic thinking in business curricula.  Dr. Kannan received his PhD from Michigan State University, an MBA from Indiana University, and a BSc in management sciences from the London School of Economics.
