Dr. Serapio is Faculty Director of the Institute for International Business (IIB) and Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), Director of the Master of Science in International Business Program, and Associate Professor of Management and IB in the Business School, UC Denver. He teaches introduction to international business, global perspectives, international entrepreneurship, dialogues on globalization, and international business consulting; he has received numerous outstanding teaching awards. His research focuses on the globalization of services, foreign direct investment, international outsourcing, international HR management, internationalization of research and development, and international alliances. In his position as IIB and CIBER Faculty Director, he develops academic initiatives, manages faculty development programs, supports leading international business research, and produces business outreach programs. Dr. Serapio received his PhD in International Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, an MBA in International Business from the University of Hawaii and a BA in Economics from Ateneo University in the Philippines. |
