How does the wait list work?
You may add yourself to the wait list for a course through S.M.A.R.T. (Downtown Denver Campus) or Pinnacle(Anschutz Medical Campus).
The wait list allows you to participate in the class for the first week while you are waiting to get into the course.
How long is the wait list?
Wait list information may be obtained through S.M.A.R.T. (Downtown Denver Campus) or Pinnacle(Anschutz Medical Campus), after you have logged in, at the course status tab. You may also contact CU Online at 303-315-3700 or through email at help@cuonline.edu.
What can I do if I'm enrolled in the wrong section?
If it's still the initial add/drop period, you may change the section by dropping the incorrect class, and adding the correct class in S.M.A.R.T. (Downtown Denver Campus) or Pinnacle(Anschutz Medical Campus).
Downtown Denver Campus students: if the initial add/drop period has ended, you are required to obtain permission to drop and add from the respective course instructor and use the Schedule Adjustment form or email cuonlinehelp@ucdenver.edufrom your campus email address in the following format:
I, (state your full name), am requesting to add (state the complete course ID #). My student ID # is (state your student ID #). I, (state your full name), am requesting to drop (state the complete course ID #). My student ID # is (state your student ID #).
The instructor is also required to email cuonlinehelp@ucdenver.edufrom their campus email address in the following format:
I give (state student’s name) permission to be added to (state the full course ID #).
I give (state student’s name) permission to be dropped from (state the full course ID #).

How do I drop a late-start class?
You have two days from class start date to drop late-start classes. For more information call CU Online at 303-315-3700 or email at cuonlinehelp@ucdenver.edu.
