Will my degree say CU Online?

No. Degrees are awarded through the University of Colorado.

 

Can I earn a degree entirely online? 

Yes. You can complete entire UC Denver degrees and certificates completely online.

 

How can I receive additional info about the degrees offered through CU Online? 

Additional information may be obtained through the respective colleges offering degree programs through CU Online.

Course Information

Where can I obtain course info? 

If you are interested in obtaining course information, you may contact the respective course instructor via email. Instructor email addresses are available on the Course Schedule Planner.

 

  How do I know if I'm enrolled in an online course?

You may access your schedules through S.M.A.R.T. (Downtown Denver Campus) or Pinnacle(Anschutz Medical Campus).

 

Which instructor is teaching my online course?

All available instructor names as well as email addresses may be found in the Course Schedule Planner.

 

Does CU Online offer any core curriculum courses? 

Yes. Approximately half of the courses offered online are core curriculum, and can be applied towards an undergraduate degree program.

 

What is my instructors email address? 

Most Instructor email addresses may be obtained through the current available course list.

I'm a CU-Boulder student or a student from a school outside of the CU System, can I take a course through CU Online? 

If you attend a university other than UC Denver, you may enroll in a CU Online course after applying to UC Denver as non-degree seeking student. It is your responsibility to contact your respective university to find out if the online course will transfer as the intended credit you are trying to fulfill. 

 

What kind of credits will I receive?

Credits earned through CU Online courses are identical to credits earned through traditional on-campus courses. The University of Colorado Denver is a fully accredited institution, making credits easily transferable to other universities.

The University of Colorado Denver is accredited through North Central Association of Colleges & Schools.
