How do I chat in Blackboard?

  • Chatting is easy in Blackboard...
    1. Click "Communication".
    2. Click "Collaboration".
    3. Click "Join" to the right of Chat.

What if I’m unable to join a Chatroom?

  • If you cannot get into the Chatroom, make sure that the Chat Room is available to your class and that you are accessing the chat room within the time frame specified by your instructor.

    If you are still having difficulties, please check out the Java Script Error page to ensure that you have the latest Java Script installed on your computer.
