The role of the librarian has changed. As “information scientists” and “knowledge managers”, librarians know what the information age truly means. They have become the needed information mentor.
This accredited CU Denver School Library Endorsement program integrates:
- Information and learning strategies
- Courses on school library management
- Collection development
- Collaborative planning
- Instructional design and instructional leadership topics
The 11 course School Library program (28 graduate credits) is structured so the courses you take concurrently complement each other. To complete the School Library program, you will need regular access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection, either at home or a convenient work location.
