Accredited Online Certificate in Adolescent Literacy at University of Colorado Denver- CU Online - Denver, CO

This online Adolescent Literacy Certificate is more than just a standard reading program in Colorado.

The online Adolescent Literacy program is designed to help you reach your students (of varying learning styles and backgrounds), while providing you with valuable credentials that can be applied towards a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as the Colorado Reading Teacher Endorsement.

This online Adolescent Literacy Certificate is a series of three graduate level courses specifically geared to the development of middle and high school readers and writers – especially those who are struggling.

The online classes are thoughtfully designed for all content areas as well as those special reading classes, and could be used as supplementation for adult literacy as well.

Adolescent Literacy Admission Requirements

You are required to have a Bachelor’s degree to apply to the Adolescent Literacy Certificate online program. A K-6 teaching license is not required, since this program would be appropriate for early childhood teachers and paraprofessionals.
