AT Network

The AT Network was established as a statewide resource that provides assistive technology information and assistance in centers across the state of Colorado and targets the senior population. The AT information and assistance centers are located in host agencies such as Independent Living Centers, Senior Centers, Area Agencies on Aging offices, and at SETAC and WesTAC.  An AT Information Specialist is designated at the center and may be an employee of the host agency, a volunteer, or a person in training funded by the Statewide Community Senior Employment Program (SCSEP).

Assistive Technology Partners (ATP) provides training to the AT Information Specialists on a variety of assistive technology devices and outreach techniques on site and through monthly webinars. Assistive Technology Kits are available for check out with hundreds of devices for all of the rooms of the home, the office, and in the community, allowing local community members to learn about tools to enhance independence. The primary goal of the AT Network is to raise the awareness about assistive technology to a greater number of people across Colorado and to help those in need acquire the technology that will improve the quality of their life.

Organizations that serve people with disabilities are eligible to join the AT Network and will have access to borrow the AT kits to learn about what is available to support independence for those with disabilities or the aging population.  ATNetworkFlyer2.ppt Learn more about AT Network (powerpoint presentation).
