K-12 Educational Programs

From life sciences to earth sciences

K-12 Program

K-12 field trips to The Wildlife Experience include standards and inquiry-based educational program to engage your students. All programs include hands-on portions with biofacts and/or live animals. Programs last thirty minutes to an hour depending on the chosen program and your schedule, and several include a visit to one of our wildlife art galleries.

Program topics range from life sciences to earth sciences and include ecosystems, animal habitats, animal adaptations, classification, the water cycle, climate change and more. We also offer outdoor adventure programs for your school or group including fishing, archery and GPS/geocaching.

Moving forward, we are particularly excited about the possibilities for our K-12 school programs to create a pipeline to higher education.
