Welcome to the new CU Denver Today,
an e-newsletter with news, events and announcements for the faculty, staff and students on the Denver Campus.
As you may have already noticed, Today has changed. It's coming with a new design, new features and a new publication schedule to better inform our readers on each campus.
In the past, one version of Today went to both CU Denver and CU Anschutz. Now, there will be separate editions, one for the Anschutz Medical Campus and one for the Denver Campus.
CU Denver Today will be delivered every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
You are receiving CU Denver Today because your name is associated with the email list for the Denver Campus.
Does this mean you won't be able to get the news from CU Anschutz? Definitely not.
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about this new "split-campus" publication schedule for Today.
I received CU Denver Today, but I like to stay on top of events, research achievements and academic developments on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Can I receive both editions of Today?
Yes, you can. Click here to subscribe to CU Anschutz Today and it will arrive in your email early afternoon on Wednesday and Friday. You may also click on the "Subscribe to CU Anschutz Today" link at the bottom of the e-newsletter.
I want to receive Today for both campuses, but I don't want my mailbox to fill up with mailings.
We feel your pain. That's why the publication of Today will be staggered. CU Denver Today arrives on Tuesday and Thursday. CU Anschutz Today arrives Wednesday and Friday.
Will the news in Today ever be the same for both campuses?
Yes, it will. When news or events affect both campuses, those features will appear in both newsletters. For example, we may include health and wellness news from the Anschutz Medical Campus in CU Denver Today because we know that many of our readers are interested in health care.
I have a story I think should go in Today. Whom do I contact?
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com or click the "News Tips" link at the bottom of the e-newsletter.
I am a faculty member (or know a faculty member) who has just delivered a major paper at a significant conference (or has been elected to a major position or has received an honor). I would like to get the word out to my colleagues. How do I do that?
We have an upcoming event we would like to publicize. How can I do that?
I already get lots of other emails from the university system and from various schools and colleges. Do I really need another one?
That decision is, of course, up to you. We can tell you that CU Denver Today is the only newsletter with content for everyone on the Denver Campus and it will provide important information about your campus.
Can I unsubscribe from CU Denver Today?
Yes. Just scroll to the bottom of the e-newsletter and click on the "unsubscribe" link.
