The Pharmacist Hunter is back and he’s on a quest to discover what students (aka pharmies) do during pharmacy school at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
While the first installment of The Pharmacist Hunter showcased the depth and breadth of a career in pharmacy, the second and third installments focus on the evolution of a pharmacy student. From classwork to service learning experiences to rotations in their final year, the videos highlight the growth of pharmies through four years of graduate school.
Episode 2 features the formative years of a pharmie – the growth, nurturing and education they receive from past generations. They learn from their elders and each other. Working in harmony with other species, they learn to work together.
Episode 3 concentrates on the final year of school while pharmies are on rotations, counseling patients, working in hospitals and community settings and practicing with distant oversight. Prior to leaving the nest, pharmies transition from learning to doing. With the assistance of current students, faculty, staff and alumni from the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Pharmacist Hunter takes the audience on an exciting journey of discovery.
