Loeb Fellowship for Park

Peter Park, associate professor adjunct of Planning and Design, and director of Planning and Community Development, City and County of Denver, is spending this year at Harvard Graduate School of Design as a Loeb Fellow, one of 10 annual post-professional awards for independent study. In addition, he was the one Fellow selected to be the 2011 Lincoln Loeb Fellow and to work with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy’s Department of Planning and Urban Form.

Park has had several speaking engagements, including the opening keynote lecture at the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure conference “A Roadmap to Sustainable Infrastructure & Green Cities” in September, “Zoning the City: Addressing New York City’s 21st Century Challenges” in November, and the Congress for the New Urbanism webinar “And They All Come Tumbling Down: A Training for Highways-to-Boulevards Activists” and the Rochester Regional Community Design Center series “Reshaping Rochester” in January.

Upcoming presentations include the “Reimagining Urban Highways” conference in Philadelphia in February and the American Planning Association national conference in Los Angeles in April.
