Associate Professor and Chair of Landscape Architecture
Ann Komara wrote an essay for a special issue of
Landscape Journal examining the influence of Lawrence Halprin on the philosophy and practice of Landscape Architecture. Komara’s essay is titled “
Water Events: Flow and Collection in Skyline Park.”
The park was a significant component of the Downtown Denver Urban Renewal Authority’s work in 1970 for the revitalization of a 37-block area in the heart of the once thriving downtown. The article includes images of those early renderings.
