Jing Wang, MD, PhD, assistant professor, Immunology, School of Medicine has been named as one of the recipients of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Scholar Award, which provides monetary support for fellows and junior faculty pursuing research careers during the critical period in which they must complete their training and achieve status as an independent investigator.
As junior faculty, the award is $150,000 over a two- to three-year period. The awards are made possible through grants from the corporate community, individual donors, foundations, and funds committed by the Society. See the press release.
