Core Identity


Our core identity elements are the foundation of our identity system, and provide a clear link to the University of Colorado masterbrand. As such, they are considered static elements; immovable, unchangeable and static across all communications and expressions.

Our core identity includes:

Our logo – whether being used at the university, college, department or unit level – is our primary visual identifier and source of recognition.

Typography is an essential part of our personality, and helps to unify our materials and promote familiarity and awareness.

Shared throughout the University of Colorado system, our primary university colors impart a sense of heritage, pride and gravitas to all visual expressions.
