The preproduction process includes initial creative meetings where an idea is fleshed out.  Budgeting, scripting, crew hiring and casting of talent also take place during this process.  Finally, the shoot days are scheduled.

It is during the production phases that the agreed upon idea is filmed. Production takes place in a studio or “on location.”  If scripted, the actors play out their roles in front of the camera.  If unscripted, interviews are conducted and background footage is shot.

During this phase of production, footage is logged, reviewed and edited. Images are refined and color corrected. If narration is required, a professional or expert is brought into the studio and recorded. Finally, music is added and audio is polished.
