Some subsite nav is showing the home page and duplicating the subsite link

Brief Description

Eric Maes at SOM dept of Neurology reports:

We are having a problem with the current navigation for two of our subsites:

These are the only two sites using the setting   “Display the current site, the navigation items below the current site, and the current site's siblings”.  The current site now shows up twice in the navigation for both sites.  Please help us fix this issue.

Detailed Description

Perunko, JenniferNo presence information (9/6/2011 3:51 PM): Figured out that the siteowner was using links instead of heading combined with a "Display the current site, the navigation items below the current site, and the current site's siblings" current nav setting ons ubsites. The use of headings instead of links on the parent site will fix this issue. I have emailed the siteowner.

I think I just figured out why this is happening, I beleive the nav setting is custom for this site, and is confused by a manually added link at the subsite root.
