We are having a problem with the current navigation for two of our subsites:
http://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/medicalschool/departments/neurology/residency/Pages/welcome.aspx
and
http://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/medicalschool/departments/neurology/fellowships/Pages/fellows.aspx
These are the only two sites using the setting “Display the current site, the navigation items below the current site, and the current site's siblings”. The current site now shows up twice in the navigation for both sites. Please help us fix this issue.

The code wrapped around the "shortley" word in Firefox where the red line is displayed correctly is as follows:

Internet Explorer does not generate the above code and "shortley" is just included in the paragraph marked up as normal text with the <p> tags.
Out of the box IE gives a misspelled word this correct span tag and associated .ms-spellcheck class to display the red line below the word.
This only happens on School of Nursing.
This also works correctly while turning compatibility mode on.
Out of the box, the code is applied correctly in all browsers and the underline shows as one would imagine it should.
Google searches showed nothing for this problem to exist.
Recommending moving to Known issues section as this is caused by Sharepoint and not anything that we did.

Tested the ribbon preview button in the Firefox browser first because most often bugs of this nature will perform correctly in this browser as opposed to IE.
Once testing in Firefox, I found that it did not work correctly in Firefox 9.0. I disabled the built-in Firefox popup blocker in the browser and retested to find that the preview window did open in a new tab. I'm considering this problem fixed in Firefox and user error.
On to IE, I immediately disabled the browser popup blocker, only to find that the Preview window performed as this bug describes (not doing anything). The HTML and CSS for the button is the exact same as shown in Firefox using the developer toolbar.
On the out of box web site, the Preview button performs correctly as one would intend the button to. The underlying HTML is the same as the HTML that's being shown on the production web site on both Firefox and IE.
The Javascript appears to be firing, but my experience with using the testing tool in Firebug to debug JS is limiting. Also, when clicking the button in IE, it seems as if action is trying to be taken, but nothing is performing. The hyperlinks are the same as well.
I tested on the Mac and it works correctly in Safari.
I tested in compatibility mode in IE only to still see the problem.
I'm not sure where else to go for tasks with testing this problem.
This appears to be a Sharepoint bug, and I suggest moving to the Known Issues area and documenting that it can be fixed in Firefox by disabling the built in popup blocker.
