Is there any way to make www.ucdenver.edu a permanent 301 redirect instead of a 302? I’ve been conducting a lot of research lately and we’re really getting dinged on the temporary redirect. Google thinks www.ucdenver.edu and http://www.ucdenver.edu/Pages/UCDWelcomePage.aspx are two different sites and therefore we aren’t getting SEO credit when people link to the domain instead of the page.
