Brief Description

When a subsite is renamed and its path is changed, the breadcrumb does not automatically update to match, the breadccrumb retains the old name and path until the "override breadcrumb" checkbox is selected in branding settings.​

Detailed Description

This site has been renamed as an example: http://development.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/pharmacy/Resources/NontradPharmDStudents/Pages/NonTraditionalPharmDProgram.aspx

1. Goto a sub page to see the breadcrumb. http://development.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/pharmacy/Resources/NontradPharmDStudents/NewStudentOrientationResources/Pages/NewStudentOrientationResources.aspx

2. Note that the third crumb says the old name and has the old path 

3. This crumb will renmain this way until branding settings are accessed and the "override breadcrumb" checkbox is set for http://development.ucdenver.edu/academics/colleges/pharmacy/Resources/NontradPharmDStudents

Johnsen, BernieNo presence information (2/21/2012 5:28 PM): The deployment issues we are attempting to troubleshoot will very likely not be ready by this push.  Shilpa is in transit back to the US and not available.  We'll be able to pick this up when she returns.

Suchak, KomalNo presence information (1/19/2012 2:03 PM): Please view the attached document below to view the results I got after moving the Test 3 site (SOP>Resources>Test 3) under Test 2 site (SOP>Resources>Nontraditional Students>Test 1>Test 2). In short, after moving test 3 site, it is missing three breadcrumbs between home and Test 2. The breadcrumb should be as follows: “Home > Resources > Nontraditional Students > Test 1 > Test 2 > Home”

Johnsen, BernieNo presence information (12/14/2011 4:57 AM): Solution BSL v.1.5.0 was deployed to spdev.ucdenver.edu for UA testing.  This version supersedes all previous versions and includes all bug fixes from previous versions including ticket: http://www.ucdenver.edu/about/departments/WebServices/services/Features/Lists/Development Queue1/DispForm.aspx?ID=197 which was not tested prior to this version being deployed per conversations with S. Demers. 
 
Once UA testing is complete,  please reassign to Bernie for deployment to sptest, Development.ucdenver.edu and Staging.ucdenver.edu.
Johnsen, BernieNo presence information (11/23/2011 5:19 PM): The solution for this issue has been written and it needs to enter the test cycle.  I wouldn't schedule this untill and unless it has been sucessfully UA tested.  I will update this ticket when that has made it to sptest for UA testing.  At this time with the limited resources on AISD I have no time table for it to enter the cycle.
